I’ve since bought the same one with the appropriate wattage and love it :) The external digital control is super handy. You set the temperature to ensure that it’ll never overheat. This has been opened but that’s all, never used or tested. This is ONLY suitable for a tank with a minimum size of 55 gallons. 500 watts
