Raku’. Collection: Artisan handmade Raku’ pendant created in an outdoor kiln. Tiny Swarovski bicones add a little twinkle to this luminous “pearl” necklace with subtle hints of green and blue and silvery metallics. The necklace is 23” around including a sterling S-hook clasp. The larger “pearls” are 1/2 cm in diameter. The Raku’ bead is 1 1/2” diameter. The “pearls” on the necklace came from a recent Estate sale and has a brand new sterling clasp. I cannot authenticate the “pearls” even though they sound and feel real. The Raku’ Collection designed by Susan A. Ray, jewelry designer and author of five books about creating jewelry. There have been many magazine articles written about her work.
