Oval synthetic amethyst? encircled by 8 clear and 8 purple CZs size 8.5 ring

I do not know what these stones are (real or fake) but it does have “925” stamped on the inside of the band (see 3rd to last photo) It is gold toned so likely gold plated Sterling silver. The stones in the settings seem to be good- no movement. The main stone looks dirty but I think it just needs to be cleaned. See photos for more details and measurements. There is some faint scratching on the band. Approx size 8.5
