How wide is these in the knee area. Are these atkeast 8.5 inches across widened in knee area? The reason I need to know is cause my hubby has left side below knee amputation and he can’t wear his prosthesis leg if his pants ain’t atkeast 8.5 inches wide in the knee area if it ain’t ge can’t get his fake leg down in pants they’d be too tight on it
