Oyster Footed Jewelry Box, XXL Seahell Keepsake Box, Painted & Decoupaged Shell

Large decorative Oyster Trinket Box handcrafted with a natural whole Pacific Oyster. The outside shell is colored Yellow, Orange, and Purple, in a tie-dye pattern. Inside, it is decoupaged with Purple Chinoiserie paper and rimmed with Gold paint. This Oyster Shell Box can house jewelry, trinkets, or precious keepsakes and mementos. Thanks to its stand, it will not topple over, even when filled with your little treasures. It will make a stylish functional ornament for your home, or a unique gift to mark a special occasion. Size… Generously sized, the bottom cup is about 7 1/2" long, 3" wide, and 3/4" at the deepest point. The lid is wavy. Altogether, the shell box stands about 2 3/4" tall (lid knob included). Handmade with Love… The empty shell was scrubbed, sanitized, and colored to highlight its unique features. Paper decoupage was then applied inside, and the shell rim was hand painted in gold. A faux-pearl lid knob and a plastic stand were glued in place next, before sealing the shell inside and out with 3 coats of varnish for a beautiful protective finish.
