Oyster Footed Trinket Box, Peony Pink Shell & French Postcard Decoupage, OOAK

Oyster Trinket Box handcrafted with a natural whole Pacific Oyster. The outside shell is colored deep pearlescent Pink. Inside, it is decoupaged with a charming French bird and floral paper, and rimmed with gold paint. This Oyster Shell Box can hold small jewelry, trinkets, or precious keepsakes. Thanks to its stand, it will not topple over, even when filled with your little treasures. It will make a stylish functional ornament for your home, or a unique handmade gift to mark a special occasion. Size... The bottom cup is about 5" long, 3" wide, and 1" at the deepest point. The lid is slightly concave. Altogether, the shell box stands about 2 3/4" tall at the tail end. Handmade with Love… The empty shell was scrubbed, sanitized, and colored to highlight its unique features. Paper decoupage was then applied inside, and the shell rim was hand painted in gold. A glass marble lid knob and a plastic stand were glued in place next, before sealing the shell inside and out with 3 coats of varnish for a beautiful protective finish. Care… Your embellished Oyster Box can be wiped with a dry or damp cloth. **It is not water, heat, or kiddy-proof 😊 Love this Whimsy?
