PENNY LANE Vintage Customized Festival Hat

This is a vintage Dynafelt cowboy hat that’s been dyed a moody, beautiful blue-green and burned strategically. The crown is 5” tall and the flat brim is 3.5”. It has an etched buckskin band, a tonally dyed bandana, twine, and leather cord overlays with a wild turkey feather and an African free trade bead in the back. Size is adjustable due to a sweatband with a Velcro tab. I call this little treasure, Penny Lane. Note: an interesting little thing about this high quality fur felt hat is that the liner was signed by country music singer, Louise Mandrell. She apparently signed it many years ago as there was a photo of her tucked inside the liner, and she appears to be in her 30’s. After I replaced the sweatband, I returned the liner to maintain some of its original appearance, and provenance. Size is 7 3/8 but adjusts smaller.
