Taking cues from the playful party dresses worn by our favorite muses of the '60s, the DÔEN Heirloom Chantilly Dress-rendered in sumptuous solid velvet-features a mock neck, a mini hemline, and puffed sleeves that taper through the arms, fastening at the wrists with a delicate line of satin-covered buttons. Waist darts and princess seams lend structure to the fitted bodice, which closes at the center back with an invisible zipper, while a grosgrain lining reinforces the neck and hemline. Such a gem and incredibly flattering. Worn once (original owner and it was NWT, so it’s still practically brand new) and paired with sheer black tights and black pointed toe kitten heels. This dress is absolutely stunning and the thickness of the cotton velvet made it so I didn’t even have to put on shape wear! The details and puff sleeves are absolutely to die for.
