Antique Or Vintage PHALSBOURG France Commune Pyrography Wooden Souvenir Plate Wall Hanging 7.75" Pyrography, also known as pokerwork or wood burning Phalsbourg is a commune in the Moselle department in Grand Est in north-eastern France, with a population of about 5,000. It lies high on the west slopes of the Vosges, 25 miles northwest of Strasbourg by rail. In 1911, it contained an Evangelical and a Roman Catholic church, a synagogue and a teachers' seminary. Beautiful pyrography and painting. Both protected by a thin clear glaze. The back is marked but difficult to read. Made of some type of natural wood. Has Nancy And 6 Mos And A Beautiful Courtyard Possibly With Water Theme. Has Metal Hanger On Back. Back Has Some Markings But Hard To Make Out. Anyone Know Possible History On This Beautiful Plate Please Let Me Know. Approximate Measurements 7.75" Diameter Excellent Pre-owned Condition Vintage Or Antique. Original Owner Is My Nana.
