This is a gorgeous Pitcher / Tankard / Jug - It is extremely heavy at 7 pounds! Multi-purpose, all beverage size. some call these Lemonades.
Measure: 8-5/8" tall and 6-5/8" wide in the base. It has a 4-1/2" wide rim. It is 8" long from spout to handle.
It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800s to 1915) which is over 100 years old now! .
The full-size traditional style body, with the punty cut handle and thumb spot. The top rim is a sawtooth cut, while the spout is fluted and notched for added bling. It has a large Fanned Hobstars for the main motif surrounded by Hobstars, Cane, crosshatching, fans, and zipper prisms, This embodies all that is Meriden right here in one phenomenal design.
This was made by Meriden, and it is the "cut no 125" pattern. This Exact Pattern Tankard is seen in the 1918 ACGA print of the Meriden catalog, but it was cat c. 1905.
Condition: This is 110 years old by now - This has no chips or bad damage on the rim teeth. No spout chips and No handle damage, firmly attached. No terrible clouding stains.
