ms_jenn_a This lady has been around. For years on posh. She used to straight out scam people with stolen pix and transactions off posh. She’s been evicted and arrested multiple times.

altonfamily I personally never trade. Here are the red flags I look for: a couple of items in their closet that claim to be designer or a bunch of designer items when they have only been on Poshmark a short time and super low prices. No love notes. Very impersonal profile. Do not answer questions within a timely manner or get defensive with being questioned about authenticity.

altonfamily @cjdunnhsf that’s what I would be afraid of is scammers. Too many people claiming fakes are real. Also do not trust authentication 100% because they have made mistakes. Someone paid almost $2000 for an LV purse passed authentication and when they got it found out is was a really good replica. So I am always VERY careful when buying anything that is used. Brand new with tags or proof of purchase is great

passion4poshing @cjdunnhsf omg, I would've lost my mind if I had been scammed like this! 🤯😵😡 I hopes of not jinxing myself, I've also done a lot of trades, with a 100% success rate! (and, no trade back requests, on EITHER side.) I truly believe it's necessary to do as much research, as possible, if I've never traded w/ them before. On Posh alone~

passion4poshing 1. I read ALL 'Trade' & 'Sold' listings as possible. 2. Read ALL comments on their 'About Me' listing. 3. And, ofc, ALL Love Notes. Then I hop on Google to search their legal name AND their closet name. If I feel apprehensive, in the SLIGHTEST, then I thank them for asking, but I'll be passing. I LOOOOVE that you pressed charges, more Poshers should do it.
