It's been brought to my attention that the swimwear in my closet is also available on SHEIN and other sites, while all of my items have been purchased straight from the Poshmark Wholesale Market from various wholesalers with their own boutique tags, I in good conscience, cannot sell these without divulging what I learned. you gotta watch out for that personn, she's everywhere. she runs 4 or 5 accountss on here, she's best friends with the CEO of posh. everyone buys from her not knowing she gets it all from shein... some of us know but so many people are wasting their hard earned money buying that stuff from her and she doesn't care one bit because she's making good profits. some of us operate differently than others and I will just leave it at that.

she has blocked me on multiple of her pages for making comments to her because I bought from her and once I received it realized I had bought bikinis for double my money that i could have gotten for basically free from shein. karaandkate, bellanblue, and a few more she runs. I don't even care if I end up reported somewhere for this because this is paying it forward letting others know.

@westv_pm Awe shoot! Good to know ya it was last summer when someone made a comment on 1 of my swimsuit listings and ya I buy all of my stuff on the Posh Wholesale and yes 1 of the suppliers was KarenandKate. So ever since that comment I've been leery on who I buy my wholesale from!

@westv_pm Kara I put Karen haha but the swimwear had been the only thing I've been screwed on everything else I'm pretty sure I've been alright with but it makes me sad that even on the wholesale side of Posh you have to be super careful you would think they would have a better vetting process for potential Wholesale sellers.

@taloi considering she's super close with the CEO of posh it probably wouldn't matter. just make sure you don't buy from any of the names I listed. bellanblue is the same user as karaandkate AND stellar designs. she has Boutiques and wholesale accounts. her name is Jen, so just keep those 3 names in mind, it's all her.

@taloi honestly that's why I got my business license and I refuse to buy "wholesale" from poshmark. I buy all wholesale from wholesale distributors that are NOT on poshmark because of the different shipping prices. I go straight to the websites and with my business licenses I can fill out applications and get in but here on posh ANYONE can buy so that business license opens windows for you.

@taloi unfortunately what people do is find what is cheapest (shein, temu, romwe, shewin) and they remove tags and put their own so it's up to us to figure out which sellers are not doing that and which ones are. I recently came on to a source that no one at all is buying from here on posh because clearly I can see no one else has some of the items I have for sell like other items. poshmark gets oversaturated with the same items from different sellers so im trying to change that up.

@westv_pm Thanks for the info =) and I've already been considering getting my tax id for my state so I can go straight to the source too but the only bad thing is if too many peeps do that then you who sales legit items on a wholesale basis wouldnt you not have people coming to you.

@westv_pm Cause the posh wholesale market is nice for the people who cant drop the higher amounts of money that some of the websites have you buy. I've been on a couple and some of the minimum amounts you have to spend is steep and that's for 1 item not a few different

@taloi you just gotta find more than just a "few" sources. most places have a standard shipping price of around $9.95 and poshmark definitely has that price beat cause posh sits at almost $8 but not ALL places have that minimum amount (some places require you spend at least 50 or 100 but not all places do) also not ALL places require you getting the "6" packs, you can get "3" packs instead which lowers the price clearly..

@taloi so really it's all about finding what works for YOU and YOUR business so what all I've been saying is all stuff that definitely works for me but that's why I have put in much much time and research to find sources that work for ME. yes some of those sources other sellers use but not all of them and honestly most of the sources I buy from have discount codes for days and do not have a minimum amount so that's why it works so well for me. I am BROKE. lol

@westv_pm Oh ya I've noticed that too a lot of the same merch on the different wholesale listings. it's a bummer cause I'm just me out of my home and dont have gobs of gobs of money to drop so it's nice being able to buy smaller pack sizes from here versus the bigger packs you sometimes have to buy from the actual source.

@westv_pm And I work on top of running my closet so I cant dedicate 24/7 and list all day and take photos I get up at 3am every morning and work a hard labor type job. I throw 30 to 50 pound bags around and up and down latters for 4 to 5 hours straight every day so some days I'm beat when I get home haha

@taloi I haven't told anyone this but two weeks back I came on to a source that I hadn't seen anyone buying from so I checked it out and they had a clearance sale for 50% off on EVERYTHING so I literally was getting 6 packs of high dollar items for $25 only. I ended up getting 42 pieces of clothing items to sale for under $200. that sale is over and may not happen for years but I put in time and found it and made really good profits, wouldn't have found that here on poshmark wholesale.

I'm in college, I'm a single mom of 2 boys ages 6 and 8, I homeschool them, I run my business because I am building up my own page on the web, I'm in my last class so the last 4 years I've been doing college work which is hard to concentrate on with everything else going on but it's for a business degree in marketing so I can help out others with their businesses too plus run my own, I can't work a job right now cause the kids so this is my income.

@taloi using this as my only income does not pay the bills but that's because I don't sale as well as others on here, my friend Erica I know you've bought from, she sales very well, she has a large following, but she also doesn't make the best of best profits cause she runs sales consistently and it's okay to do that but she doesn't need the income like how I do and my other friend Valarie so our prices differ but you don't ever go under profits no matter what, for no one.

@westv_pm It does make me sad though that there are wholesale sellers taking advantage of peeps who wanna sell boutique and not just secondhand and vintage. who like u said spend their hard earned money and then have to try and flip for a profit at 60 bucks or whatever and have no idea is being sold for pennies on varies websites.

@westv_pm so ya last summer is when I started to figure out not all wholesale closets are legit and I've never been down for fraud or stealing and honestly when they accused me of buying from shein and trying to take advantage of peeps made me feel 2 inches small and dirty I've always been a strong believer on honesty is the best policy so to be accused was a heartache I dont want to repeat

@taloi the same exact thing had happened to me and it taught me multiple lessons in one because it had even misled me and made me think you could sell that stuff on here and so I could have easily looked just like her and got accused but someone had reached out to me and told me and then from there I knew from then on what not to do but she still continues on doing it so that shows her intentions.

@taloi she even tried to get crappy with me and wouldn't answer my questions which we all have the right to ask questions if it involves SPENDING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY and so she eventually blocked me and at one point got mad cause I canceled on an order that she had not shipped after a week of waiting because she was posting stuff for sale she didn't have in her possession and you aren't allowed to do that, if you can't ship it out within the right amount of days.

I believe in helping others out and paying it forward. @taloi I suggest researching info on business licenses for your state. just kind of give yourself an idea. it cost me only a certain amount in my state but may be different for your state, it didn't cost much at all and once you get it, you have it. keep your documents and once you print out your license hang it somewhere like in your room or living room so if you ever need to grab a picture of it for applications its close to you

@taloi I actually saved my license to my phone as a document so anytime I need to do an application I have it on my phone already to upload and then you get in quickest as possible. most companies only take 1 day to approve you but it's best to give them all info you can asap to prevent any roadblocks or hiccups along the way.

It has been one big learning experience that is for sure. we all learn working on here whether we learn from ourself or from someone else but you gotta watch people on here I'm telling you, they get vicious and will pray upon you without you even knowing. they will copy your techniques without you even knowing. we don't gotta copy, we can work together and encourage one another, in my opinion.

@taloi and it's ok to share sources to people you trust if you know they won't come and buy the sane stuff as you just cause they see you sold it successfully because what sells for you may not sell for me and vice versa so people who think they can do that and be successful usually get hit with reality real fast and see they fail before succeeding because of their approach inevitably.

I take all my own photos and I've had others use my photos for their listing of the same item. and it wasn't the reposh feature either. Hell if they would have asked me to use the photo I wouldnt have hesitated with a yes I love that so.eone wants to use my work makes me feel good but dont go behind my back just ask nicely haha
