This is a gorgeous unique soft leather purple PRADA bag. This bag never goes out of style it’s vintage but it’s a classic. This bag has some wear. fashion_expert Great idea. I am protecting you. I have the real crocodile one. In purple. It retailed for $8200.00. Someone else has it in another color listed for just under $5k. If embossed, its listed properly. Add to your description to safe guard you since you list it as crocodile not embossed crocodile.

fashion_expert do you have card that says what it is. the bag color is very rare. I think if you bought it in italy it is worth used about 5k. see ebay. mine is different model but looks same. need to authenticate with Prada not real real etc

chicologie @bopsy this is embossed calfskin resembling shiny crocodile. “Cocco lucido” or “shiny croc” the material code for the creased, laquered leather used here. “Coccodrillo” is the material name for authentic croc from Prada. Within the last 20-30 years, all exotics from Prada are leather lined, not jacquard lined, and have more than a single batch tag inside, in accordance with CITES. (It will either expressly state the exact species used or have a reference number to a CITES certificate).

chicologie @bopsy Also, in the second listing for this bag the wear shows loss of finish and lightened leather underneath, which is how embossed leather wears. Hope this helps everyone!

chicologie @bopsy it is! It’s just not real croc. This is authentic and listed accurately. Also- the leather lining is 99% accurate. I’ve seen a smooth satin one in a smaller bag before, it just slipped my mind with my previous comment.
