Things I’ve learned along my plant addiction (ugh) I mean journey 😅 OVERWATERING IS THE NUMBER ONE KILLER OF PLANT BABIES. Is that true? I’m not really sure because I just made up that statistic. But it’s been true in my experience and probably got your attention to keep reading 🤷🏻‍♀️ Water less! I used to be a helicopter plant momma. I’ve learned that sometimes less is more! Some plants tell you it’s time for a watering because they go floppy or pale. Once they have that water they perk right back up to their vibrant self. Pretty cool to watch the transformation. Make sure you are only using this method with plants that like to dry out between watering. ❄️ Winter is coming ❄️ Also, a reminder for all my plant parents, less light means less water. Just because you water once a week in the summer does not mean you should do the same in the winter. Check in on your plant. Stick your finger in the dirt (it’s okay we all do it) and see if it’s time to water or to give it space. Want more plant care tidbits? Like this post!
