This is an original PV France piece, bought in Europe, lived in England and brought to the US in the 1970s. Victorian style design specifically holding treasures. A treasure dish for your treasures. Historically Treasures have most often been hidden at sea, and this dish is adorned with beautiful seashells and trimmed with perfect barnacle clam shells, & held up by 3 legs that if you look closely are the heads of 3 happy sea dragons. It is true fit of a treasure dishyou might find at the bottom of the ocean. It is covered in Detailed design carved in the Opaline glass, and the dish stands sturdy and secure, and the lid hold tightly; a perfect design for many different types of your treasures; from candies, to jewels, special trinkets, or love notes.
