heaex Why are there holes in each silver loop? I have purchased and own several pairs of sterling silver earrings and have never seen this before. Are these defective items?

wvawakening @heaex no ma'am these are not defected items!!! I treat people the way I want to be treated and I wouldn't want someone trying to sell me something defective that just wouldn't be right. I have searched for the exact answer because I didn't want to just tell you my opinion. First I used Google lens and I did see other earrings with the little pin holes but they gave no reasoning Second I called a jewerly store I frequent talk to the jeweler and got his opinion

heaex @wvawakening what did the jeweler tell you? As this clearly is a design flaw or lesser quality item. The pin hole is quite noticeable on a shinny item, in which I have never seen before. Where are they imported from?
