Pair of Karakusa Blue Bowls

Two 7” porcelain bowls. The blue pattern on its white background is known as karakusa. Karakusa is the name of a traditional pattern used in Japanese textiles, featuring an arabesque of tangled vines. It represents a plant in full growth, a symbol of prosperity and longevity. Wider than deep, this large ramen bowl set is perfect to serve ramen, udon, soba or use it as a serving dish to present a nice mixed salad. Minor flaws are visible in photos.
