Panetta Vintage Marquise Crystal Earrings. Well made and beautifully set pair of Vintage (1960s) Panetta Earrings. Six Marquise Crystals and gold tone loop on post closure. Benedetto Panetta founded the jewelry company bearing his surname in New York in 1945. He got his start as a fine jeweler in Italy working with karat gold and platinum. After Panetta’s death in 1960, his sons Amadeo and Armand continued to operate the family business. In the late 1980s the company was sold to one of Panetta’s best customers in Japan. Production continued with the new entity through 1995. Measurements: 1.50"x.50"
