Like new in box Parker 51 Fountain Pen and Lead Pencil. Color is teal/blue. I don’t think this pen has been used before, the bladder looks clean of any ink. Gold plating on both pen and pencil has some smudges but can be easily cleaned up with a sunshine cloth. Please see images for condition. 1/10 12Kt gold filled Fountain pen and lead pencil. Great set for someone trying to find a complete like new set. I have too many fountain pens and I am condensing my collection of pens down to only a few Pelikan, Mont Blanc, Sailor and Pilot fountain pens.

gigettemarie What size is the nib on this pen?

gustheartist @gigettemarie I’m pretty sure it’s a Medium nib but not sure. Usually they are marked under the hood and I do not want to remove the hood to check. It’s too large to be a fine and it’s not a broad or music nib.

gigettemarie If it says “special” anywhere by the ink sac on the metal part then it’s probably steel. I can’t tell from pictures

gustheartist @gigettemarie usually “SPECIAL” is marked on the metal shroud around the sac under the stamp “PARKER 51”. There is no “SPECIAL” under the Parker 51 stamp. This should make this a non-special, which means gold nib va steel nib. I am not interested in taking off the nibs cover so I can’t truly confirm.

gustheartist @gigettemarie haha no worries! I have about 10-12 Parker 51s and have seen the “SPECIAL” before. If you don’t buy this I’ll probably just put it in with the rest of the collection. It is kinda neat being like new (no visible ink in the sac or visible use).
