Pastel pocket mala for on-the-go meditation or prayer. Can also be used as a fidget. Mostly morganite and aquamarine Made with an abbreviated 27+1-count of beads, it is hand-knotted on coordinating nylon cord with matching handmade tassel. I make stiff knots between beads, as they tend to relax the more a mala is used. The inside measurement hanging straight is approximately 5.5" and the tassel measures approximately 3.25" long (and can be trimmed shorter if you prefer). These beads are a little different than what you might find in something similar on the market . . . because I have arthritis I started making malas for myself with larger, 10mm beads but the larger beads are also geometrically faceted. This polygonal-cut style also makes it easier for me to hold onto individual beads as I make my way through my meditation. So if you're like me and have trouble holding onto smaller and/or round beads, this style might work better for you. Size, texture, and style of bead is also something to consider for neurodivergents.
