millefolium @katyandersonca hi! The outer material is quite sturdy. Feels almost canvas-like, but not that stiff. I’m not sure if it’s technically waterproof but I believe it has some kind of water resistant treatment. Perhaps the Patagonia website has more info on the fabric specs.
