This classic winter jacket from Patagonia was in rotation with a bunch of tech swag jackets and was only worn 14-15 times. It is from the fall of 2019 season, but it has been a staple for a decade or so. This jacket is super warm despite being incredibly lightweight. It's not waterproof if it's absolutely pouring out, but it will keep you dry in a reasonable drizzle. It packs up really small if you care about that kind of thing for backpacking. I don't know the exact size, but lets say it could fit in a big gulp cup. That sounds right.
