Used waterproof hooded outer layer from Patagonia. No holes, but some staining and discoloration (see photos). Cuffs are elastic with velcro. Adjustable drawstring at the bottom, inside hood and inside front. Zipper closure with velcro and buttons to ensure water does not get in. Two zippered and covered pockets at front.
