What is waist on size 8?

That said, I think the size chart is really accurate here. I'm usually a size 28/29 in jeans and I fall right between the size 6 and 8 in these shorts. For reference, my widest hip measurement is about 40 inches.

@natalie72489 hi! just posted pics. the waist on the size 6 is about 15" across and the rise is nearly 12". i have a hard time finding pants that are snug on my waist but have enough room for my butt and thighs, and these are great!
