@vysais measurements never work for me my body is strange... I'm an Ashtangi yogi I look 160 but I am 210 I wear small I'm Athleta, 6 in Lululemon and medium In most stuff. What size are you? I'm better at just numbers 8-10 ect. I have Patagonia shoes & shirts but no pants. Thank u

@satiyogini I vary with brands as well. I recently tried a pair of Athleta leggings and was a small. however, tried a pair of patagonia hiking shorts and the 2 was too small. I think I'd either be a 4/6 in those hiking shorts. In regards to these specific shorts the medium was a bit loose on me, had to use the belt. I think with the elastic they would fit an 8. I'll provide a photo with measurements regardless :)

@satiyogini my pleasure! laying flat they are 16" across. That's without the stretch of the elastic. They also can sit above the hips, more around the waist if you'd like. Hope this helps!
