This is leather inside and out. This is a thick leather and will only get better with age. Think of Frye boots leather. Now, to the condition. It is pre_owned with minor flaws. Some natural creasing to the leather. Some smudges. One handle at the top has minor stretch. One stain inside the bag and another inside the pocket. No rips from the leather.
