She has been developing herself as a dedicated, passionate professional artist for more than 30 years, in all types of venues. Estey has taught intuitive art classes for more than a dozen years, helping people to embrace their inherent creativity while guiding them in how to deepen as fine artists. Many of her students now show throughout New England. She has been the Artist in Residence at Unity on the River Spiritual Center in Amesbury, MA, since 2001, creating numerous art and spirit workshops, classes and special events for this thriving community. She founded and managed their gallery for eight years. She created many site-specific works and installations specifically for the center.
