The iridescent peacock feather motif showcased on this artful glass box references a Favrile glass vase (ca. 1900) by Louis C. Tiffany (American, 1848–1933) in The Met collection. In the early 1890s, the illustrious designer developed a method of blending colors in glass while it was still in its molten state. He called the results "Favrile," and was duly celebrated for the extraordinary innovation. Glass Felt lining 7''L x 5''W x 3''H It does have 2 air pockets in the front as shown in photos. Otherwise, it’s in excellent condition.
