Pearl Looking 14 KT Tie Or Lapel Pin Set

Purchased as part of a vintage lot. The post on the pearl like bead is marked 14 KT. I am not a pearl expert so don’t know the type of pearl: man-made, salt water, cultured, natural etc. The clasp seems a bit squished. It holds the pin well.
