Wooden Salt Shaker and Pepper Grinder Set Metal Top and Mechanisms Red & Black, color is a stain and varies throughout salt shaker translates slightly lighter in one area, has always been this way. Height: 2 1/2" Tall, peppermill mechanism extends an extra 3/4" tall and 1 1/2" wide Diameter: 2 1/4" wide I see the red as an orange-y red, tops are painted cream with black dots, the dots on the wood are more whimsical. Nod to ladybug or watermelon? Pepper fills at top, salt fills at bottom when rubber stopper is removed. Rubber plug is still good and pliable, no signs of drying. Good previously owned condition. Probably 20 years old. These were used for about 1 year and then perched on a shelf...I love red accents in my kitchen. Good previously owned condition.
