The story behind the object:
Depression glass was a type of glassware produced between 1929 and 1939, around the time of the Great Depression. This clear and colourful machine-made glassware was distributed free or at a low cost in the United States and Canada.
Most depression glass was made in the Ohio River Valley of the United States, where access to power and raw materials made production very inexpensive at the time. Over 100 patterns were made by more than 20 manufacturers, with entire dinner sets being made in some patterns. Some movie theaters and businesses handed out pieces to customers during this time and even food manufacturers, like the Quaker Oats Company, put a piece of glassware in boxes of food as a purchase incentive.
no flaws. Perfect.
bubbles in glass are normal for the time period.
