Periwinkle Ruffle Gloves, Distressed Antique Gloves, Snaps, Elbow Length

A very sweet pair of tattered antique gloves - clearly loved, worn often, and repaired within an inch of their functional lives. The fabric is very thin and stretchy, in the prettiest shade of dusty, periwinkle grey-blue. Gauntlet length, just short of the elbow, with ruffled details and three snaps on each. These gloves are in VERY distressed condition - as pictured. These appear to have been a favorite accessory, judging by the extensive repairs and hand-stitched patchwork put into the fingertips. If you have smaller sized hands like me, I would say these beauties are ready to serve as a costume accessory - a ghostly, undead bride is the first place my mind wandered. Just under 15 inches long. Best for decor or careful wear on small hands (Pictured on a petite size 6.5 glove) This item is part of a large collection that was stored in a trunk for many years, and carries the expected “musty antique” scent. As with all antiques, it shows signs of wear and age. Larger flaws will be noted in description, however, there may be additional small marks / holes / discoloration present.
