laurenr818 It's pretty gender neutral. I wore it (I'm a woman) but I also have male friends I lived in Peru with who wore the same one. Hope that helps!

laurenr818 @seagull12 no worries! I added a couple more pictures to try to get a more exact color. It depends on the light, but I think the last picture is most accurate. It's a dark caramel color. It's handmade and felted alpaca wool, so there are specks of variation in color here and there, which you can see in the photos. I bought it from Pisac, Peru while I was living in the region several years ago.

laurenr818 And added one last photo of the inside so you can see the band. It's loosely sewn in. It never bothered me to wear it, but if you found it irritating you could easily remove it.
