Hand embroidered "Mercado" translates to the market. 19″ x 19″ Tag: Handcrafted in Peru Fantastic applique relief work. Finished in a purple blanket stitch. Incredible needle work and textile art. One of a kind. Various fabrics used. 12 "People" in this scene. Tremendous detail in great condition (a few stains on the front and back of the piece).
