Amazing Cajamarquino Folk Art of traditional countryside scenes of Peru. Colorful reverse hand painted watercolor on glass with copper tinsel and mounted on wooden squares. Artist’s signatures appear on all the pieces. During research I similar items date to the 1970s. When held to the light you can see specks of copper which leads me to believe that tinsel foil was used. Good condition with signs of age on the wooden bases.
