Hi, y’all! A fun fact about me is that I’m 10 years vegan 🌱, an animal right’s activist, and former Animal Police 👮‍♀️ Cadet. With that said, I have a huge love 💗 for animals and currently own 3 cats and 2 dogs. Some were rescued and some were adopted from the shelter. My dogs: Poco 🐾 & Jojo 🐶 My cats: Cyrus 🐈, Shiloh 🐈‍⬛, and Dutchess. 🐾 4 boys and 1 girl. As a pet parent, I TRY MY BEST to remove any fur or dander off my clothes and have lint rollers all over my apartment. It is inevitable to not miss a strand of fur. I do wash all my clothes before shipping them out and keep my pets out of my bedroom/closet as the items I’m selling are boxed up and out of reach. My pets mean the world to me. 🫶🏼 I apologize in advance if I missed any! 🙏🏼

nichoelled @jrlexus01 that is such a cute and unique name. I never heard of it before until now. I got my other two cats when they were 6 weeks old and yesterday my black and white dog turned 10 years old since I had as a newborn.

trademeetup I’m glad you were a pet cadet, I was unofficially one but sadly sometimes I’d let’s say call the police if I couldn’t save the pets life and they were not trained in my area on how to respond to an animal in danger , like in California, and put said animals at the pound where I’d then have to pay or ask to release them to me. Before I had children real human ones lol 💗✝️💗🎄🎁

nichoelled @trademeetup I do live in California. I was a cadet for Animal Control Law Enforcement and wanted to be a Animal Cop for hoarding and abuse cases. But sadly, all the animals I rescued off the streets were euthanized if injured or sick cuz the state/city didn’t wanna pay for it. It was cheaper on them to kill. 😭

nichoelled @trademeetup and they don’t bathe or groom them so most are overlooked and not wanted for adoption because of looks being dirty or hair matted. They also get fed once a day (my state at 5pm). If an animal came in after that, they don’t eat til the next day. 😭

trademeetup @nichoelled see I know and I’m grew up and am from California but I assumed in Maryland it was same thing call cops the call the animal pool ice but not on east coast they call the death sentence animal control where they kill them so I almost had to pay to get them out and rehomed and if I do it again, because you have to the criminals won’t let go of their victims, I have to pay pound fees to rehome them myself🤬🥵😳😳

trademeetup @nichoelled oh wait what back in the 1990s in Santa Cruz it was different though they took them to no kill shelters in fact rarely did anyone own a pet there the laws were very strict about pets

trademeetup @nichoelled luckily we have a huge humane society so if I Truely couldn’t find a home for them they are a no kill shelter adoption center and pets art also takes in animals for adoption. It is so sad when I go to death row, and I see young bright happy pre loved pets purebred dogs dumped because” family was moving, Jonny has allergies” don’t they understand the get gassed or clubbed to death I hate pple like that

nichoelled @trademeetup yeah, we have some kill shelters here in CA and unknowingly, the one I worked at was one. One day, I was washing all the dog bowls over 200 of them and smelled this terrible smell and right behind me were trash cans full of dead euthanized dogs for little to no reason. It’s awful. I quit after that.

nichoelled @trademeetup I grew up in 17 abusive foster homes and was homeless for 2 years but I put my dogs before myself and found ways to keep them and myself protected then throwing them in the pound. They are my sons! The black and white one just turned 10 years old this week and I’ve had him since he was 6weeks. I would go to hell and back for him.

nichoelled @trademeetup also, I developed a strange moderate to severe allergy to him after 6 years of raising him and I get sick when he licks my face but no where else, especially if it gets in my nose. I have to take Benadryl but I call it tough love. ❤️
