Those are Dancing Kidneys! We were really a creative bunch when we were younger. I bet the person who thought of this became an ad genius as an adult. Tee shirt for the annual Rock-a-Thon with Phi Sigma Sigma sorority and Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity to raise money for the National Kidney Foundation!! So, Dancing Kidneys!! Brilliant!! From 1989. In great condition considering.

cindyvintagetee @tleighp20 Taylor! Thanks for your purpose fellow Sphinx. You attend University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown? (I looked it up because I didn't know what the Zeta Kappa chapter was. I went to American University....a LONG TIME ago, as you can see. So, I would love to get all these to you including the additional Phi Sig Rock athon tee. I am going to reject the offer though and re-bundle the offer to you to include the additional shirt for free. That way it "looks" like I sold it to you.

tleighp20 @cindyvintagetee Wow, sorry for all my spelling errors there. LITP* Yes, I go to Pitt-Johnstown and I'm a junior this year. We have a small chapter that has about 20 active members currently and are the only sorority on our campus! I'm currently living in our sorority house and my roommate and I flip when we found these Phi Sig shirts. It's especially cool considering a lot of these shirts are from before our chapter was even founded in 1991. Our school is back on campus and we are actually...

tleighp20 one of only five chapters that are in person this semester! We have a lot of restrictions of what we can and can't do because of our school's restrictions and headquarter's restrictions, but I know everyone is just happen to be back. We already did some volunteering in Johnstown last week and are starting to have some recruitment events soon.

cindyvintagetee @tleighp20 Taylor, I meant to write; "Thanks for your 'Purchase." So, we both had some spelling mishaps. All good. So, thank you for putting the extra tee in your bundle. I just figured out it's too confusing to cancel the sale and re-purchase it all. So stupid. So I just removed the Rock-a-thon tee shirt from being for sale and I will enclose it with your purchase. I will also include a lettered Phi Sig Sig sweatshirt that I did not list here because I thought no one would want those! Ha.

cindyvintagetee @tleighp20 I will dig those out of storage in my garage and include for free. I want to warn you that the style way back then was to wear everything HUGELY OVERSIZED. Like bizarely oversized. Its so weird to see now. You could probably wear as a dress! So, I won't be surprised if you reshape these goodies to fit a normal sized human these days. And then make masks out of the extra material!! Ha. Lovely to hear your stories of getting back to campus & what the sorority is doing.

cindyvintagetee @tleighp20 My Phi Sig Sig Chapter at American University was very strong at the time and I am still very close with many of my sorority sisters to this day. I spoke with five of them this week all over the country. So, I hope you have the same life long friendships with your sorority sisters. And use your bond and relationships to be a great support now during this difficult and scary time to protect each other. Just like we are doing too as adults. Lovely chatting with you. Cindy Cesare

tleighp20 @cindyvintagetee I hope that I’ll still be close with my sisters 30 years from now! Also don’t worry I definitely dress like I’m from the 90s. Baggy clothes are my best friend. It’s super sweet of you for including so much in this bundle. If seems like a lot of people are more concerned about money than passing things down to new sisters.

tleighp20 @cindyvintagetee I know everything will be highly appreciated by me and everyone from the Zeta Kappa chapter. I sent screenshots of our conversation to our groupchat and everyone thought it was really cool. It was very nice meeting and chatting with you too! -Taylor Peck, ZK410 💙💛

cindyvintagetee @tleighp20 Taylor, ha...it is funny to know that what is old is new again. This stuff has been sitting in my closet for decades and at some point I said to myself, (it took a pandemic to push me into it,) it is time to pass these things on girl! But I thought who would want them except the off chance there is a cool young Phi Sig around that think this stuff is so dope because it's the year they were born!! It delights me! Washing the sweatshirt now because I pulled from a bin in the garage.

cindyvintagetee @tleighp20 I will see if I have some old shot glasses too. No promises but I will check around. But no sharing them if I find some! ;) It's been a joy interacting with you...cheered up my week. Stay safe. Cindy Cesare

cindyvintagetee @tleighp20 Taylor, I dug out the shot glasses and cleaned them and they are coming your way in the package too.Along with some other surprises. :) What are you studying and hope to do when and if this economy ever bounces back? I hope you are registered to vote in PA, which is very important no matter how you swing. But you might imagine I am very worried for you kids graduating and the damage this despot man occupying the white house has done. I hope you are helping young people to vote. C.

At the moment I’m looking into going into the park service and I’m also beginning to look at grad schools. I’m registered to vote in Maryland. Don’t worry I feel the same way. I would love to keep contact with you. My g mail is tleighp20

cindyvintagetee Taylor, so glad you got everything. But so sorry the box did not hold up so well. That is odd because I thought I taped it up good and the post office is very good with packages. And it got there so quickly!! But glad all was okay inside. I hope you enjoy all the goodies. Cindy C.
