Phoenix & Chinese Dragon Carved Pendant Rebirth Golden Brown 3 1/2”

I acquired this at a time when I was buying a lot of stones from far away. I loved the carved stones, real little art works like modern day cameos. This piece is heavy. It represents the Phoenix fighting with and overcoming the Dragon so it can rise from the ashes reborn. I don’t know what this is made of. Could be glass? Looks carved especially in the feathers. Has a role for a bail but I think it could be just hung from a ribbon and also, not necessarily worn.
