@rachelnelson98 it didn't turn black on your finger?Real gold should leave a black streak. it may be that needs to be on hand where sweat mixes due to glans and hair follicles or something. try to Google it and see if you want. no matter what Poshmark will do their text whatever that is. it didn't float though so it can only be sterling silver gp if anything fake

@rkarendt I gotcha. I also didn’t like rub it on my skin or anything. I literally just dabbed it on the necklace 🤣 but nonetheless, do you still want it? I’ve got everything to get it shipped ready. And again, I certainly welcome you check it however you typically do.

@rachelnelson98 I already paid, you should have it. I'm not sure how this works but it's out of my account.

@rkarendt oh! Oh my goodness. Well no wonder you had questions! So even though the funds were withdrawn out of your account, I do not have them. Poshmark does. And once I ship the necklace, it will go to their facility for the inspection. After the inspection and if it comes back good, they will send to you to receive the necklace. And then I think you have like 5 days to review the item once you receive it to make sure it truly is as advertised.

@rkarendt if you agree that all is well, once you check the box in the app, then it will release funds to me. But if you don’t agree, you can initiate a return and they will provide you with a new shipping label to send it back to me. Also, if you don’t provide a response within the 5 day window or whatever, it will release the funds to me as well. So buyers and sellers are definitely protected.

@rachelnelson98 oh man I wish I had known that from the beginning of the first offer. I would have paid earlier and I'm sorry for being ignorant of the rules, I apologize that I put you through all that.
Did you honestly get it appraised, and if so what is the value of the necklace? I think you were just mad and making a point but , if you did I'm curious what the results were. also what did the jewelers say? I sincerely hope it is genuine.

@rachelnelson98 I would love to keep this necklace and I'd appreciate it and wear it every day. Also, if it is real whenever I get my jeweler to x ray it and all good

@rkarendt no worries at all - seriously. I totally get being skeptical in today’s world!! But Poshmark is very secure thankfully ☺️ and yes, it was actually appraised lol. The penny weight value was $445. And Sissy’s Log Cabin (which is one of the most reputable jewelers in Arkansas said they would put it on their shelves to seek between $1100-$1200. (I certainly didn’t mean to seem mad - so sorry for that.)

@rkarendt and no worries at all on the extra money. You made me and offer and I accepted, so we are square! ☺️ I’ll get her sent out today so we can start the process. Honestly, I have zero doubts of it being genuine, but I absolutely respect and support you wanting to have it verified! I’m a “trust but verify” type of person as well.
