Pierre Cardin Vintage 1960s Space Age Cosmocorps Navy Vinyl Jacket S/XS

Iconic, fabulous, vintage 1960s Pierre Cardin space age style jacket from his cosmocorps collection in navy vinyl, with white contrast accents. Though many of his pieces were made in France, this piece was made in the USA and has USA union-made tags. No size tag; in my opinion it fits like a contemporary US S, though it could work for an XS as well. A few signs of wear - an old repair to the lining (stitches visible below the Pierre Cardin tag on the interior of the jacket, pictured), an area at the front edge of the jacket where it looks like it may have been caught in the zipper at one point, some yellowing to the white fabric edge along the zipper, wear to the coating on the zipper pulls, and a few light scratches to the vinyl - but overall really beautiful vintage condition and an exceptional piece of fashion history.
