sevensayers Sorry to bother you on a post. Would have sent you a private message, but don't know how. You mentioned you and a few others were conned by a seller on PM. I'm new on PM,and would like to know what to look out for. If you don't mind me asking, how so? You can email the answer if you prefer. Funky2foto@yahoo.com Thanks

lsspln Just sellers like @alecia like my other post, also there's a girl named ginger something who does the same thing. It's overall a pretty decent site- pm takes a pretty large cut (20%). If you like more than one item from a seller, you can ask them to "bundle it" (put it all in one post) so you only pay shipping once (5.50 if over $25, 7 if under.) I would avoid really name brand items because its so difficult to prove they're real. I purchased a pair of true religion jeans that had a hole RIGHT in the butt, and PM refunded me and allowed me to send them back after submitting pics. They're good about stuff like that. I would say when selling stuff, make sure to list all defects. Avoid using PayPal with buyers and sellers you have never bought from before, poshmark won't protect your order if you do. Happy poshing!

sevensayers Thanks. So they were mis-representing their listing? I saw a listing where a buyer took a photo of her purchase which had an un-mentioned ripped zipper seam. She posted it as a listing for $0 and headlined it as: "Check Your Merchandise Before You Sell" Of course she tagged the seller. I thought that was brilliant. I don't do PP 20% seems like a chunk of change, but how much are you getting if the clothes are sitting in your closet? Thanks again. :-)

lsspln @funky2foto yes they were definitely misrepresenting and poshmark never deletes users... So that sucks. The cool part is trading. I haven't done it, but hope to. It is better and I think you get more than taking it to your local consignment shop. My mom makes a killing on this thing... @cindyweber

cindyfisk @lsspln I wouldn't say killing☺. I wouldn't recommend trading. I have seen lots of folks lose their stuff. Very sad. 😔

sevensayers I don't think I'd trade. What if items are mis-represented? You are out in the cold. I'm ok with buying and selling. Good old fashion way. But now that the topic is fresh, I'm seeing a whole-lotta crap. Like a girl selling"genuine leather boots" for $90. But didn't think to take the target sku tag off. Yup..... Clear as day. Target $39.99 Unbelievable. I'll just stay clear of those people. I did have two excellent transactions. Items were better than I anticipated. Thanks again.
