Can you tell me the material it’s made of, and is it a warm winter coat or light weight for cool spring weather?

I imagine that would depend a lot on where you live. I live in Massachusetts, and I would consider this a winter coat, but if I were planning to be out in the cold for an extended period of time, I would probably put a sweater underneath. The coat is one thick wool layer with a silky lining. Does that answer your question?
