I use this reference chart prior to purchasing. What annoys me is I may offer 10% off or less and get declined. If an item is $20, I’m not going lower than $17. State if your price is firm or no offers are accepted. When I get declined, I’m more than likely not going to purchase from the seller 😡 🙅🏽‍♀️I don’t lowball sellers and I would rather a counter than decline. I’ve been declined for asking for $1 off 🤷🏽‍♀️Yes, $1. 😳😳 I’ve seen the same items sit for months 😏 $1 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣😂

crystallcut 😂😂😂😂 yess guess that 80 cents is a deal breaker. Or when they decline your offer and go around & sell it to someone for way less than you even offered like 🤔🤔

strappednblack I’m sorry but I’m disabled and if I decline an offer it’s because I can’t afford it.... we are allowed to like an item. That doesn’t mean we are obligated to buy it....if I feel like the price I can pay is not fair to the seller I decline and share the item with my followers.... I’m not declining and offering what looks like a lowball offer cause I can’t afford what they offered..... thinking outside the box is key....

babylovebuckets Totally agree. I always give good deals! And when I ask for $1 or $2 off. People usually counter back but can’t let go of the $1/$2!!! Crazy. 🤷🏽‍♀️

jahmariposa Well, now, chiding people for not wanting to accept your offer of a few cents or bucks less can go both ways. Its the same thing, really. why is it such a big deal for the person making the offer to pay a few cents or bucks less than the listed price? Just some food for thought.

jahmariposa I think i might have misunderstood what you were saying though. Are you bothered by people that liked one of your items declining your private discount offer sent to them? Or are you bothered by people who have declined offers you made for an item listed in their closet?

isaidmelanie Low ballers make me crazy. I had an item already marker down to $6 & was offered $3. I had to explain what % Poshmark would take for their fee which left me with a nickel. She paid the $6. I never turn down 10% offers, or even 15%. And on bundles I have it set at an automatic 20% off for 2 or more items. I’ve been declined for offering a rounded up %🤦🏼‍♀️ Thank you for this post!
