bethjennings I'll share your closet!! Just keep sharing and following people......it'll come around. I'm new, but that's been the advice i've been getting! :-)

bethjennings I would also say to share your stuff in the parties that are relevant to your items. Share other peoples items in parties. When you see something or someone whose style you like go to their closet & hit the button that says who they are following, and follow those people. And keep checking back on your page to see who is following you, and follow them back. The more people you follow and the more you share others items, and your own, the better it gets! I've been doing this since mid Nov and only recently have i started making sales! Hang in there :-)

ccappello1 The best thing to do is to share like it's nobodies business. Share your own items,especially during parties as it exposes them to more people. Share other people items. I try and share 1-2 items for every follower. Follow anyone because they usually follow back, the more followers the more exposure. When you come across follow games, like it so you are put on the list, then follow everyone whose already liked the post. And most importantly like I suggested yesterday, follow all rules. You really should go and read the posh faqs and etiquette page. It clearly shows the dos and don'ts...And asking people if they are interested JUST for liking an item is a posh DONT and you can be reported for harassment and potentially have your closet closed. I only say this because people like the item because they are interested, some go back to purchase when they have the funds, others wait till you lower the price because posh sends notification to anyone who likes an item when the price is lowered, some wait till posh does shipping discounts because they don't want to pay $4.99. There are many reasons someone likes an item...as you see most people ignore the comment from you if they are interested because it's frowned upon to even ask, others respond with wanting to wait for funds etc. My biggest suggestion is to stop asking and simply thank them for the like. You can add things like I give great bundle discounts, or my prices are negotiable, or free gifts with purchase, or i ship next day(this is something people like as posh technically gives you 7 days to ship)....these things are not against posh rules and not harassing yet still sounds enticing to someone. Just some suggestions...also try to build your closet, I've found the more items and choices the more sales I've made. I've been on posh less then 5 months but I paid attention to all rules, etc and got my very first host pick at a party before 3 months. If you have any questions or want suggestions Im here to help. tippiejax Also, clear well lit photos. And use all 4! Modeling and using a bust display has helped me tremendously. And describe! Give measurements. I'm a describe crazy girl--you don't have to go that far, but I feel condition of garment, how often worn & measurements are a must. And never underestimate the power of a photo. All the other advice above is important, too.

tippiejax PS-don't feel bad, either. This is not an easy closet to make sales on. It takes a long time and social commitment. Selling 3 items a day is a tough goal, for anyone.
