strictlyclassic Can I use your charts? I’m really getting low balled. The time it takes to locate product, fight with lighting, edit picture, make the posts mailing ets; Then an offer of $15 where I’m asking $50 because the item is $128. Feeling like a Good Will with the offers I’m getting AND I do love Good Will, but at least help me cover gas cost for picking it up! 🤷🏻‍♀️😢

jessguercio @ambentzen thanks for the chart. Question...when I make a private offer to my likers, why do I get a message that the offer was not sent? Ex. My item is listed for $10, I send them an offer of $8, then I see in My news feed that is wasn’t sent? Any help would’ve appreciated. Thanks!

ambentzen @jessguercio I’m sorry I just saw this. I’ve had that happen to me too. I’m think when it’s Happened to me I have to send an offer that is lower than the one that says it was not sent to any likers. It has to be at least 10% lower than previous offers. I hope that helps some.

The right person will come along and pay what you’re asking or submit a reasonable offer. It took me a little while to realize that. I’ve had some people boo hoo to me about shipping costs and I don’t think they realize posh takes 20% off the top. Hang in there xoxox

I keep saying I’m going to put them up and I have not but I got way offended again just a little while ago so if it’s OK the charts are going up tomorrow! You don’t think about people that are googling a certain item and it comes up in Poshmark and they may have never been on Poshmark at all, so they are clueless! THE chart is extremely important!!

snidersus @ambentzen i will say this - when I get a low ball I check to see if the buyer is a PM seller. If he/she is I respond by picking a nice item from their closet and asking how they like it if I offered 30% of the sale price !! That usually solves it

gjeannieg May I please use your chart? I’ve seen advice that says to always make a counteroffer on a lowball. My experience is to IGNORE. When I was a new posher, I got suckered into bargaining (if you can call it that) with a lowballer. They got a bargain, and I ended up with a less-than 5 star review!!! I was devastated. 😆 Now, I know better.

It’s best to make your own signs and take your own pictures instead of taking other peoples. Lots of pictures have peoples names on them to deter people taking their pictures. And it’s always best to ask. Good luck

raelepnfstudio Hi! Would it be possible to use your charts?Low Ball Offers are becoming discouraging especially on High Design Items as well own Art pieces. Selling online is what pays for Art/Design School it’s becoming a drag when ppl offer 75% off of painting or other items. I know we’re in climate of inflated pricing. Buyers have to consider what it costs sellers to bring items for sell & all it takes from sourced to listed. Thanks for this love your closet.
