The panné (crushed) velvet is unusual these days, and eye-catching because the velvet color reflects the light so the grey color is not "flat." With the black velvet ribbon closure - this is a great top to wear a) as is, with some leggings - or b) as a mini!! (course you have to have the legs and fishnets or whatever for that.) Although I'm a size S, this garment has a roomy* cut and would easily go up to a M or even L. Despite its "roomy" cut - when you put it on - it's very feminine and flattering .... cuz of the crushed velvet, the colors, the back ribbon closure. Round neckline, short sleeves and gathered at the bottom for flare. Pleone was an Oceanid nymph in Greek mythology.
