@shannahh taken flat across the waist measurement is 12 in but there is elastic all around the waist so it is very stretchy.

Thank you. I really like this but I am afraid it might be a smidge too snug. My waist is approx 28.5" around. I don't know if the stretch in this would be enough. Agh it's soooo cute though!
