4forethought Battery? It's an automatic MECHANICAL watch. Did you try winding or wearing the watch to check that the watch was running? Or, did you simply see that it wasn't running and decided it needs a new battery? The clear back and visible rotor should have been clues this was NOT a battery operated quartz watch! /smh
