I am originally from MI, but I visited here when I was 21 for work and when I left I promised myself that I was going to live here one day. Took about 12 years, but in 2003 the Navy moved us here. I still get humbled whenever I go to the beach (Chicks is my fav) and realize that this is my life, when most people have to save up all year just to vacation here for a week. ❤️

plusitscute @beachbumvb I love Virginia Beach, My son is in the AirForce and his wife just had my 1st Grandbaby so he wants me to move to Texas. Living near the beach is such a blessing. I grew up with my Dad taking my sister and I fishing and my Mom would take us to the beach at night to enjoy the breeze. Both have passed on so I go to the beach to be closer to them, but it has always been my favorite place, its my peace.

I sell a lot of off the wall alternative brands and it ticks me off that I have to compete with people listing their no name brands as the same ones I'm selling.
