@ziachick505 So if you go to your posh stats you’ll see A record of the new Pashers that you’ve shared. Once you share a certain amount of new poshers a little red notice will come up next to it that says “posh mentor”

Thank you so much. 1) I only use an old mac laptop, just so you know. 2) I want to see my dressing rooms showing only my current likes. Although I select the setting "likes" instead of "all" or whatever the term is, it still shows me dressing rooms with items I no longer "like". How do I make that work? Let's start there. Also, is there a place I can go to find information on, say, "dressing rooms" and get answers to questions like these? Thanks again. My stress level just went down.

@ziachick505 if you also go into your my posh stats you should see a thing like a progress report that tells you how far you are away from receiving posh ambassador status. For instance in order to be a posh ambassador you need to have certain amount of sales, a certain rating from your sales, a certain amount of shares, and more.

@ziachick505 OK so I just hopped on my Mac to to doublecheck. The same thing is happening to me with my old likes. I’m not sure if there is a way to get rid of them or not. If you click on your face in the upper right-hand corner you’ll see a guy to Poshmark, and some your questions will be answered in there. However please feel free to continue asking any questions you have, and reach out if you have any new ones🙂

So you can definitely use Poshmark without a smart phone but it's more cumbersome that way. The smartphone is easier to use with the app instead of the website.

ziachick505 Think of it this way- unless someone is specifically looking for an item they are not going to be browsing your closet. If you share an item though- it goes to the main feed where everyone who is a follower of yours sees. The more you share (and the more followers you have) the more sales you make period. They are directly related. To share you click on your post, and there is an icon that looks similar to the arrow recycling icon- click that to share to your followers.

ziachick505 So I've been checking out your main page- here is what I would recommend. 1. Update your cover photo to a pic of you or something you like. 2. Put up a couple of postings of things from your closet. Take good- well lit pics, and take the time to describe it well in the comments. 3. Share other listings from your followers, and then after you have put up your own clothes share them 3-4 times a day. 5. Gain more followers (I'll tell you how you on the next comment)

@nicolex731 I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one and your job too. Neither is easy at all. I started here on Posh after both my husband and I lost our job within the same time frame. I knew I had to do something so I hit Posh hard, and, thankfully, it has worked out. We're back on our feet now, but it definitely helped while we were struggling. Let me get you some of those tried and true tips that have worked for me.

@nicolex731 By playing the games I now gain anywhere between 12,000-15,000 followers in a month depending on how many of them I play (there's a bunch of different ones out there). Tip #2 Share: Share your closet 3-4x a day. Share others closets too. You have a lot of Lularoe in your closet. After you have shared your closets make pointed shares. Go to the people finder in the app (top right off the feed section).

@nicolex731 (see above comment too) Go to 'My Brands', type in lularoe, and in the search category search by people who have closets with the same size of lularoe as you do. Then share a ton out of their closet. Every now and then one of them will go to return the favor, see you also have lularoe, and like it or buy it.

@nicolex731 other than that try to get to posh ambassador status, continue great customer service, have clean, well-lit photos, properly describe your items, and more important, have fun. It will take a couple of months to build, but it will happen. My first month I made maybe 6 sales. Last month I made 57.

As far as buying goes: you are more likely to get better deals the more you bundle. Find closets that have a ton of pieces, then buy a bunch of clothes you like. Sellers are more likely to give you 25% off and up off their price the more you bundle together. If you are unsure about how the particular brand might fit on you, be sure to ask for measurements so you know what you are getting.

Keep following the tips, and try to get to posh ambassador as soon as you can. It will take a couple of months but your sales go when you do. @rae_zee hey! Thanks for reaching out! You are only allowed eight photos per post. If you want to edit the photos you already have or add or delete them you would click the edit button to make any changes. If you want more photos, which I’ve seen done with super expensive items like Louis Vuitton, you can refer people to another post in your closet that is marked ‘not for sale’ for additional photos and information.

@rae_zee as for items that were for sale and then canceled, you have to completely redo the post. There is no way that I know of to unmark it not for sale. I’ve had to do new ones a couple times because of this reason too

@avaloss absolutely! The posh games are how I was able to gain so many followers so fast. The two main game hosts I love are @gainfollowers and @freddiefinds Read their game slides, sign up in the comments, and play.

@avaloss You have a great closet. One suggestion would be to get all the items you’ve sold to the very bottom and all the items that are available to the top so that when people are searching your closet everything that’s available is right there for them to look through. Sales are slow for everyone right now because it’s the summer slump, but soon people will be shopping for fall. So if you have more stuff to post start posting your fall stuff soon.

@avaloss lastly, even though it is the summer slump, up the amount of times you share everything in your closet that’s available. The more you share more sales you make. Try to share your whole available closet 5 to 10 times a day.

@tifibeans Help! New Posher here. Just had my first sale. I shipped out the order for 2 items to the same recipient in one label. Now when I look at my status it is expecting a USPS scan for the second item but it's in the package w the first one! How do I fix??? Can the buyer "accept" the 2nd item w/o a USPS scan???

@mlala015 Welcome to PM and congrats on your first sale! They buyer cannot accept the 2nd item w/o a USPS scan, BUT it's really an easy fix. Through your email, contact Poshmark Support and let them know that you shipped them both under one label, and to link the two together. They generally take around 24hours to respond. Then contact the buyer and let them know that you sent the two together so they know they are both on the way.
